“Hoplessness” is a fictional trial film opposing the idea that nothing bad happens to good people. The antithesis of the American dream. A short film that portraits the reality of millions of people in the world, emphasizing image and sound discourses to express the subjective appearance of the sensitive experience.
A group of characters that intropectively reflects on numbness, individualism and social justice, with no reason nor hope.

Director Biography - Dilanci May Sierra

Dilanci May Sierra is a Colombo-Venezuelan audiovisual producer based in Caracas. I promote the consolidation of the first faculty of university studies in cinematographic matters at the experimental university of the arts where I graduated as a graduate in audiovisual arts reference address in Caracas Venezuela, he is the author of the book Verónika and Other stories. He has made several short films that have been awarded nationally and internationally, he has also been a juror in several short film festivals in Venezuela and is currently working on some audiovisual projects.

Dilanci May Sierra es un Realizador audiovisual Colombo-Venezolano residenciado en Caracas. Impulso la consolidación de la primera facultad de estudios universitarios en materia cinematográfica en la universidad experimental de las artes de donde egreso como licenciado en artes audiovisuales mención dirección en Caracas Venezuela, es autor del libro Verónika y Otros relatos. Ha realizado diversos cortometrajes que han sido premiados a nivel nacional e internacional también ha sido jurado en varios festivales de cortometrajes en Venezuela y actualmente se encuentra trabajando en algunos proyectos audiovisuales.
