As someone who went to an online school from 7th grade, all the way till she graduated high school, and was criticized for doing so, Belicia just wants show others that there are plenty of different ways one could get their education. She believes that this film must be made so that others can see that it’s okay to do things in a nontraditional way.
If someone doesn’t feel comfortable with their children or themselves in a traditional brick and mortar school, that’s okay. If they want to give homeschooling or online school a shot, then that’s great. Some may criticize you for doing things differently, and that’s also okay. Keeping your head up, and believing in what your doing is right, and remembering why you’re doing things they way that you are in the first place, will keep you going.
She wants to create this film in hopes to motivate people to try something new. Especially if they want to do things differently when it comes to getting an education. She also wants to let people know of a couple of different ways one could get their education.
