Homeland
The subject of the documentary is the migration process of the Bulgarian Turks, who settled
in Gebze district of Kocaeli province with the forced migration in 1989 and continue to live in
the region, and what they have been through after the migration; on and after this
process, the effects of Gebze which is a huge migration area; and the examination of the wave
of migration abroad of the last generation who was born and raised in Turkey, in the context
of sense of belonging, home, homeland etc.

Serdar Gürdamur, born in Istanbul in 1999, has been a cinematographer and director since 2019. He also attends the Department of cinema and television at Anadolu University.
The short movie Agora which he was cinematographer, was included in the official selection of the Anatolia International Film Festival. Serdar Gürdamur is a camera assistant at Anadolu University Aöf Tv Production Center in addition to his film education.
