My name is Cloe Peker, and I am a film artist. Expect the unexpected.
What I love about making films is the possibility to create emotions. I use film as an expression to communicate what surrounds me. I like to understand the world, how we connect with each other and how we associate with the space we live. That’s why I love working collaboratively with artists and communities. I work with painters, actors, dancers, musicians and I incorporate these textures into my film work, designing communal projects.
Together, artists and audience we create films. Windows filled with dreams.
I love it when the film develops and shapes itself. I interact with the world and then, the world reaches out to my audience.
It is a process and, a language.
That’s when documentary connects with video art. I am interested in showing emotions through the reality of the world we live in.
