Director Statement

This is a film about the war in Ukraine through the eyes of famous British people who sheltered refugees from Ukraine in their homes. Singer Ozzy Osbourne, actress Emma Thompson, ex-tennis player and commentator of the Wimbledon tournament Andrew Castle, ex-football player Harry Lineker, writer Jenny Murray, as well as the families they sheltered will tell their personal stories about the hell of war and the difficulties they faced in the state program "Home for Ukraine". And we will also see whether the star hosts became "good fairies" for the refugees and gave them a chance for a happy life in Britain, or whether some of the Ukrainians were unable to adapt to new realities and will return to wartime or postwar Ukraine.
