Director Biography - Evgeny Trubachev

Born in the small Siberian mining town named Kemerovo, Russia.

In 2016 graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University with a degree in Radio-Electronic Systems. Works as a teacher of electronics at the university and writes a PhD thesis.

Currently studying at the Ostankino High School of Film and Television with a degree in Cinema and Television Directing, workshop of Vladimir Grammatikov.

Director Statement

In Russia, the history of each family is firmly connected with the Second World War.

My father and grandfather were at war, and two great-grandfathers remain there.

This short film expresses my sense of war.

Its idea is «‎War does not let go.»
