Daniele grew up in Italy but is now based in Portland, ME, where he's pursuing a film career. In the short time since enrolling in film school, he's taken part in multiple projects in a variety of roles.
In 2019 e served as key grip in "Begin Again", which saw a theater run that Spring. He also worked as a gaffer in the award-winning, short-film "Johny" (2019) and in "View from the Window", a music video for local artist Ben Rooker. He was also 1st Assistant Camera in "Genesis 23", part of Maine's annual Damnationland Festival.
In 2020 he worked as 1st Assistant Camera in "Kings & Queen" (currently in post-production and slated for a 2021 debut) and as the Director of Photography for "Masterpiece", a student film that was set to release in Maine theaters in May 2020 but was postponed due to COVID-19.
"Homecoming" is Daniele's debut as director.
"Homecoming" is a deeply personal interpretation of the anxiety and tribulation I experienced as I left Italy to move to the United States. I worked incredibly hard to bring this project to life, and I brought in a team of cast and crew that I was able to connect with during my projects in the last few years. While my personal experience informed the writing of this story, I believe many will relate to the universal struggles that Peter lives through in "Homecoming".
