Sebastian Haid is a sound mixer, director and musician based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Coming from a small rural town, I didn’t know who I was, but then I moved to a major
city. This story was inspired by my own self-realization, and learning that I could find
love in my heart for not only women, but men too. I wanted to depict those feelings in a
way that felt natural. In a way that does not entirely draw attention to itself for being a
gay relationship. As it should not draw attention to itself, as it’s no less valid than any
other loving relationship. Same with the couple being interracial. I wanted a film that
depicted a gay relationship as normal as it feels to me. We as a society should strive to
normalize what is already normal.
