Holy Poker

In 1984, a high stakes secret Poker Game was attended by 5 of the most influential spiritual leaders on the planet. With a combined 2 billion “followers”, these holy men, gurus, and even cult leaders plot an entirely new religion which could change the world.
What you are about to see is the only evidence of this meeting. If they were still alive, they would surely deny that this ever happened.

Director Statement

Shooting a short film with this much dialogue and these amazing comic and improvisational actors made getting all the shots feel almost impossible. But, with every laugh and cut and smile, we got it done on time!

The writer and producer, Bart Baggett really deserves all the credit for pulling this together. He handed me a terrific group of actors, a great location, and a polished script. He is the filmmaker on this one.
