Feedback option- The Good Film Test: When you screen with Hollyworld, we will be recruiting a carefully curated audience for their feedback, and we will be sending that feedback to you. Audience responses are vital in understanding how your work sits on its own merit, and we don’t shy away from sending you the best of the best and the worst of the worst.
When your film screens with Hollyworld you might be surprised what you can learn. With the help of our team, we have come up with a solid/full-rounded focus group called The Good Film Audience.
We offer this to filmmakers who are willing to pay for the valued time of the people assessing their work.
Our focus groups are lead by fellow filmmakers/film-lovers who have a passion for films. We then recruit 10-25 people who fit your films target market and conduct a full screening and q&a session. The focus group gives a full breakdown covering every aspect of your films marketability, quality, and artistic intention. Included with this are next step recommendations, and a retrospective review all in a concise and easy to decipher PDF.
The Good Film Test is a simple flat fee which covers the submission to this festival and the reviewers time. This option is displayed at the side of this listing titled “The Good Film Test” this covers films of all types, lengths, media and genres.
The reviewers are made up of Hollyworld Good Film Audience members, filmmakers, and film lovers from around the world.
The aim of The Good Film Test is to give the filmmaker and/or production team a valued insight into the judging and decision making process of the films target consumers. It also uncovers the emotional response to the technical and philosophical intent behind the creators’ films. This valuable insight enables you to develop effective marketing and distribution options for your film, and to offer extremely useful next steps with professional and solid creative guidance all delivered on a clear and easy to read multi-page fully personalised document. Hollyworld showcases the best of today’s underground independent cinema. Out of the official selections Hollyworld members select one winner in each category.
(Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Documentary)
The winning filmmakers will receive a high-resolution png image of our laurels with the “Winner” label to be used as the filmmaker sees fit. With the filmmakers permission, we will also host the winning films for a limited time, prominently on our website.
Our prizes and awards stretch from the submission level, all the way through to our season awards at the end of the year.

Value for your submission. Receive exclusive “feedback” emailed to every submitter up to 5 days from time of submission.
Highly rated films- if your film scores high but isn’t included in our final programme you will be invited to our "Hollyworld Initiative."

After all of the above, you will be regarded as part of the Holyworld family for the years to come. We want you to continue to engage with us, and as we grow we will welcome select filmmakers in helping them to build their own productions, and projects and hopefully join our jury/selection committee.

Language: Foreign films must be made available with english subtitles
Hollyworld does not require premiere status. Entries may be televised or widely available online before May 23, 2019.
-Distribution status-
Films with US distribution are welcomed but are not eligible for marketing. Hollyworld does not pay screening fees for films.
Hollyworld festival accepts all genres and long form content. Films must be submitted via online screener (FilmFreeway screener). Entry doesn’t guarantee acceptance into Hollyworld.
Submissions will not be returned. We also accept submissions that have premiered elsewhere and that may have distribution agreements already in place. Multiple entries are allowed however, a separate entry form must be submitted for each.

Feedback is sent shortly after commencement of the festival.
Proudly, we have no other restrictions for your work. This includes your works premiere status, its age and/or your work has been made available online.

Support Materials
Accepted films are required to provide an electronic press kit including:
-Production still photos, images that accurately represent the look of the film (Not on set photos)
-Director, screenwriter, producer photo and biography/filmography
-Director’s statement
-Credits list
-All photos should be print-quality (300 dpi)
-By submitting your film for consideration to the 2019 Good Film Contest you are telling us that you have full authority to do so, that the film is cleared for potential online exhibition, and that you accept full legal responsibility for the intellectual property therein. Submitting your film to us constitutes permission to exhibit your work at Hollyworld.co
-If your film is accepted to be apart of the program, you will do your best to work with us to have the films director and other key personnel (actors, writers, producers, etc..) attending the festival to present the film and interact with Hollyworld's Good Film Audience.
The Good Film Contest is also hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at The Good Film Contest for promotional purposes.
You shall also indemnify and hold harmless Hollyworld Media from against all claims liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including, but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court.) Which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
