Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario where I now live with my wife and our two dogs. I am a graduate of Western University's Media, Information, and Technoculture program with a Minor in Creative Writing. Currently studying at Centennial College in the Advanced Script to Screen post-graduate program.
I have always wanted to write for television and film. I made the decision this year to leave my previous career behind to pursue that dream. In the process, I fell in love with directing almost immediately. I am beyond excited to continue learning and making films.
This film is dedicated to my father, who passed away unexpectedly when I was 26 years old. Grief consumed me for a while after his passing. I finally feel like I am in a place to share that experience and do the pain justice.
I feel drawn to stories about grief because it is such a complex and confusing emotion. It had this strange effect on me where I felt like I was being pulled apart inside, yet at the same time pulled closer to those I loved.
Thank you so much for watching,
Nathan
