Hollow
Money can't buy happiness unless it's a bouncing bundle of joy. Hidden smiles, yearning hearts wrapped in stigma and shame, Hollow is an intimate glimpse into the experiences of 6 black women struggling with infertility.
The documentary highlights the fact that, although the global assisted reproductive technology (ART) is a more than 20 billion-dollar industry, reaching the ultimate goal of motherhood is still unattainable for many black women.

N'Zuri Za Austin is an innovative author, producer, award-winning filmmaker based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. She first attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she majored in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Journalism. After being introduced to the world of filmmaking by her former professor, Kyle Trevor and mentor Skyy Banks, Austin soon realized that the true beauty of words were in the motion they created, and so set out to write life.
N'Zuri is the founder of Roar In The Rock Films; a black female-owned production company that focuses on creating character-driven narrative films about life, about love, and about truth in the black community.
