Director Biography - Sam Godber

Born in 1998, Sam is a 24-year-old animator from Worcestershire, England. He studied Graphic Design and Animation at Stratford Upon Avon College where he gained a passion for animation and achieved a Distinction in his diploma. His work was considered by his lecturer Colin Flint as "the best he had ever seen". He then went to the University of Gloucestershire to study BA Animation and made a variety of different short experimental animations, including an anime-style opening in a homage to Minecraft and an animated music video. He also collaborated on making another adult animated student project known as "The Battle For Monty's".

I have been in love with the many worlds that the medium of animation can take people for as long as I can remember. It can bring some of the most unbelievable ideas to life and I look forward to telling some of my own stories through this incredible medium.
