In creating this film about Hiroshima, my intention was to transcend the boundaries of historical recounting and delve into the profound human experiences that unfolded on that fateful day in 1945. Driven by empathy and deep admiration, I aimed to honor the memories of those who endured the unimaginable, highlighting their suffering, and the glimmer of hope that arose amidst the devastation. This film is not just a retelling of a historical event; it's an homage to the spirit of Hiroshima's people, a reminder of the devastating consequences of war, and a call for peace and humanity in our times. It's a tribute to the enduring spirit of those who faced the darkest moments with courage, and a reflection on our responsibility to ensure such a tragedy never occurs again.
