Hins graduated at a business school at first. However, she found her passion and love for film again back in 2021, that leads her jumping out of the comfort zone in a stable career. "The Warmest Dorm" was then created during the pandemic, that mainly investigate on the LGBT theme in Hong Kong, it leads her an "entry ticket" to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts for the Cinema Production MFA Journey.
In 2023, she motivated herself to direct and produce several short films, which include "80%", "Prototype 01" and "The Glimpse". Nonetheless, she was lucky to be chosen as one of the 21 students, to attend the Ruben Ostlund Master Class in Italy , which organized by International Filmmaking Academy. "The Glimpse" were created during the masterclass and remarks a significant success for her film studies.
During October 23 - 30, she was chosen as one of the student representative by Asian Film Awards Academy, to participate the "Journey to the fest" program to the 36th Tokyo International Film Festival (2023). It was an incredible experience for Hins to explore asian films culture in an international stage.
