Director Biography - Ajay Jain

Ajay is a Travel, Heritage & Archaeo-Filmmaker who has been filming and documenting some of the world's most ancient and unexplored places, ancient archaeological sites and cultures which still lie forgotten.

He has directed more than 104 TV Show episodes and films on Indian heritage, arts and culture that have been telecast on Indian National Television- Doordarshan, one of the world's largest TV networks. He has also produced films for the Archaeological Survey of India- India's premier organization involved in the preservation and conservation of archaeological sites and monuments.

An extremely passionate traveler, Ajay has driven across the length and breadth of India- over some of the world's highest mountain roads and passes in the Himalayas as well as the beautiful roads at the land's end in Kanyakumari, India. All through his travels, he remains actively engaged in filming and documenting some of the world's most colourful and unexplored cultures and traditions.

He leads his organization Sukhnidhey Films whose works have been appreciated by the National Geographic, the Department of Tourism, Art & Culture, Ministry of Environment & Wildlife, Government of India, Wildlife Trust of India, etc.
