In a world where superheroes are everyday occurrences, Stevie, an isolated, orphaned child with extraordinary powers, finds a father figure in Baxter. A renowned fire-wielding superhero, Baxter decides to take a chance on this lost child, whose abilities prove to be unpredictable and potentially dangerous. But the veteran soon discovers that his ingenue’s powers might just be beyond what he can handle.

Jack Bertram is an Australian animator, born in Melbourne in 1999. He has recently completed his Honour's Degree in Animation at the University of Melbourne. His research project investigates the making of an 'epic' fight scene, and explores how narrative, variety, and struggle for power may contribute to strengthening onscreen fight scenes. Previously he completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Federation University with a particular interest in digital art and animation as well as digital media.
