Her Tears
The story follows the life of Shiela, a woman who has been married to her husband, Stephen, for two years. Despite the love that she gives him, Shiela feels trapped in a loveless marriage. Stephen, a workaholic, comes home late every night, leaving Jane feeling neglected and angry. As days go by, Shiela's resentment toward Stephen grows stronger, and she begins to question whether she should stay in the marriage. But deep down, Shiela still loves Stephen and can't imagine their lives without each other.
With the help of her friend Deborah, Shiela starts to rebuild her self-worth and regain control of her life. She confronts Stephen about their issues, and together they work towards saving their marriage.
“Her Tears” is a story about love, marriage, and the complexities of relationships. It shows that love is not always perfect and that even the strongest relationships can struggle. But with commitment and hard work, anything is possible.

Gulu Movie Nights
Director and co-founder of United Youth Entertainment, the biggest film production house in Northern Uganda. I have been a producer, film director, trainer, fixer, cinematographer, 360-degree video/Virtual reality videographer, and film festival director at Gulu International Film Festival since 2017. I produced over 80 films documentaries and commercials. My script “Breaking Walls” was selected at the Zanzibar International Film Festival Scriptwriting Competition in 2013 and the short film “Crying for Help” won Best Short Film at the Uganda Film Festival in 2014. I currently am a film trainer at Mobile Film School Gulu, which I hope will become a permanent film school.
My fourth-coming short film “The Night Commuter” explores challenges the night commuter children faced during the war between 2004 and 2008 in Northern Uganda, as told from the perspective of the characters of 16-year-old Apio, her siblings and friends as they seek safe shelter in Gulu town.
As a filmmaker, I want to be a celebrated filmmaker who was part of the generation that created and developed a self-sustaining film industry in Northern Uganda. A film industry with a film school (training), film studio (Film Production), and film festival (Marketing and distribution networks).
The idea for this project came from our team's desire to challenge ourselves creatively and technically. We want to see if we can create a compelling story, and plan, shoot, and edit it within a day. We also want to showcase our team's talent and abilities and provide a platform to experiment with new techniques and workflows.
