Director Statement

The process of infertility treatment is tough. My parents had been through the process in Taiwan for over 10 years. My mother had to do the self-injection of HCG by herself every single day. The emotional stress and medical treatment made her depress. Her parents in law gave her pressure, even asked her to divorce with my dad. In the end, they still failed in the treatment and couldn't get pregnant.
Five years ago, I found out that I was adopted. My mother told me her story of infertility. After I came to the USA to study MFA in directing program, I decided to make a short about my mother's story.
