Destiny is a 32-year-old single parent, who starts her first day on the job as a social worker. Destiny is fighting a never-ending fight with the judicial system and trying to improve the lives of those affected by it. She slowly starts to lose herself in her job and starts neglecting her kid because she is steadily trying to help those on her caseload.

Cory Davis received a BFA from Howard University. His early dream was to become a successful actor. As he noticed stereotypical characters, he decided to start writing stories that speak directly to his demographic by using issues they face that are not publicized within their own community. His inspiration comes from his former jobs as an adoption social worker and teacher. With his inside knowledge, he would like to tell stories of things that have yet to come to the forefront of the media.
