Jackson Morgan is a Northwestern University film student going into his Junior year. Help Me! is the first film he has directed. This summer he interned on the films I Used To Go Here and Dream Police, both directed by Northwestern professors. The latter is a short film which, in addition to being a G+E swing, he Assistant Edited.
Growing up in New York City I became numb to the rampant homelessness, and rather than helping, I learned to ignore the plight of those around me. While I could have done more at the cost of only slight inconvenience, like most New Yorkers I regretfully did what was easiest for me -- nothing. I wanted to make a film which reflected on my own experiences, analyzing the reasons why people fail to help one another and the consequences to which their lack of help, or insufficient help, leads.
