Director Biography - Erlend F. Stærk

Erlend F. Stærk is an up-and-coming Norwegian filmmaker, who with his DIY approach to his projects always wants to give the audience a fresh experience, while crafting a style that feels authentic to his subjects and the stories he wants to tell.

His documentary feature debut, Hello Moss Angeles, is a comedic testament to his urge to not do what he has been told he needs to. Doing everything himself and running after his subject with no real plan, he shaped the film along the way, exploring the creative life and commenting on what a documentary "needs" to be.
