Hell & Heaven
Two connected tales of time travel and wish fulfillment by Shayon, Tista, and Ratri— one going back to correct some past events, and one going forward to experience the future world— by a novel mobile application. The storyline follows their disregard for the cardinal features of this application that ensues some weird twists and turns in the plot.

Nilabja Das was born on 23 September 1984 in North 24 Pgs., West Bengal, India. He started his directorial career with a documentary titled ‘Perrin Saheber Bagan’ (2013). Later he made ‘In Search of a Muluk: Old Memory of Love’ (2014), a documentary on Kolkata’s Fairlawn hotel — renamed later as The Elgin Fairlawn — that shed light on the Armenian communities of the city. ‘Baalir Niche Jawler Shabda’ (2016) was his foray into fiction. ‘Hell & Heaven’ (2023), a science fiction/fantasy film in Bengali, is his first directorial collaboration with Sourabh Sarkar. Currently he is in pursuit of making a docufiction on an Indian classical dance form.
