Héctor Castillo Demo Reel

Héctor Castillo, originally from the department of Quetzaltenango, showed a passion for the stage as a child, doing imitations at family gatherings. His quinceañera was a tribute to Jhon Travolta on the dance floor. At the age of twenty he begins to do some cosplay seriously, two years later he plays the role of Jesus in the staging of Jesus Christ Superstar for five consecutive years, which motivated him to follow the great dream of his childhood. He begins to write film scripts, and his first two books of which Juanito Piccolo will be the first to come out. In the year two thousand and fifteen he began technical studies in cinematography and as study projects his first two half-length films were born "Unpredictable Couples and El Beso del Ángel". In two thousand and twenty he studied acting for film and musical theater, at the same time he was shooting the third half-length film "Politiqueros y Burrócratas". Due to the pandemic, the premiere of this was delayed to arrive together with the fourth film "Rescate en Doble Vía". All four have been written, directed, produced and acted by himself. Currently, at thirty-six years old, he is preparing his first novel that will give life to his first feature film. As a writer he presents himself under the name Mauro di Sancastello.
