It took 15 years in filming and making this film, I myself experienced a phase of rediscovering and re-recognition for this film about the content and theme. As for me, I think my life experiences and the changes of the revolution is what made this piece and it allowed me to have a chance to present you all a lively story.
Dorje longed for a turbulent and adventurous life, how far can people like him in this society go on with their life is questionable. Before the rise of the Internet, people aren’t as much assimilated as before, and as an individual, the diversity and complexity are also being presented in this film.
