Health Metaverse

WAICF - World AI Cannes Festival took place on the 9th of February 2023. To most people, this is perhaps the biggest AI Festival in the world, to me and my team however, this was the moment to show the world the future we were building, and the kicker, African animators kick ass!

A couple of weeks before the festival, AfyaRekod, the biggest health data platform in Africa, approached us with a bold concept, the future of healthcare.

The brief was simple; imagine a future driven by health data, where society was thriving and everyone has access to their health data. Based on this, build a Metaverse driven by climate and health data and a trailer for said Metaverse.

And so we set out to shock the world. We had to 3d model an entire futuristic city capable of accommodating up to 50 million people. Within this city, we had to bring to life all the different activities, infrastructure, transportation, and more that would be utilized by a future thriving population. We also went ahead and designed a state-of-the-art data center to power the AI 'Moesha' who would power this thriving population. All this had to run on Unreal Engine and blockchain by Africa Blockchain Center.

Through our first-ever Pan-African Digital Animation Agency DSRPTR on, we brought this Metaverse to life in a stunning trailer breaking down the key highlights. Behind the scenes, we are hard at work to complete the Metaverse that will transform healthcare.
