Director Biography - Conor Smith

Conor Smith is a filmmaker in southern Utah. He has found a love for the creative aspects of film. He has worked on many films as a member of the creative team and assistant directing. As his directing debut he has found a story he is deeply attached to. He has worked on short films within school and on indie sets as well as worked for companies to film commercials for them. Conor puts the most effort into every project he is a part of.

Director Statement

I had a grandmother with dementia and when it started getting worse we could quickly see that she was no longer the person she use to be. Since then I’ve always thought very long and hard about memory loss conditions and symptoms so I wanted to make this piece showing how much of ourselves memories actually hold.
