The Hawk Pantry

The Hawk Pantry is a food access program located at the University of Houston – Clear Lake. In past years the pantry has faced many challenges to keep providing for the students that utilize it. Budget restraints, lack of donations and inflation are just a few of the issues that have had an impact on the pantry. In this film we get to hear from staff that have had to adapt to the challenges and how the pantry continues to help students. Director Biography - Cristina Gonzalez

Cristina Gonzalez is a senior at the University of Houston – Clear Lake majoring in Communications. She also works at the Center for Student Advocacy and Community helping provide basic needs to students including food access programs. This is her first film class and her first documentary film.
