Director Statement

Starting from documentary filmmaking, Kuo is known for her excellent techniques for capturing emotions. Kuo’s first documentary short film She (2016) won the Golden Harvest Award (2017) and other international awards and was screened at domestic and international film festivals. In 2018, Kuo completed her first solo exhibition The Tomato Girl with composite media and then developed into an experimental short experimental film The Tomato Girl.

In 2020, Wild Tomato Co. was established. Kuo is trying to tell stories about the original and unique appearance of life with various media.
