Haunted House
The short music film “NHÀ HOANG” is an effort to “die and then live again!” of the protagonist, a journey towards self-liberation. He faces his shadows and fears by exploring his childhood fascination with horror and haunted houses. The visuals intertwine the splendor of nature and the fragility of human breaths. The music is saturated with dark, throbbing, haunting beats, and different vocal experiments.

JACK! (he/him) is a 21-year-old Vietnamese performer, drag artist, and filmmaker, based in Sai Gon. Born in the “city of flowers” Da Lat, JACK! is known for incorporating drag, music, fashion, dance, storytelling, theatrics, and cinema into his projects. His latest self-directed short film “Nhà Hoang” hoped to tell a story of self-discovery, a journey from personal struggles and fears to the bigger impacts of society on queer expressions. “Nhà Hoang”, an original song, was also his first debut as a songwriter and producer. However, music was only composed in service of fulfilling his biggest focus and passion: performing.
