Director Biography - Yeliz Kıroğlu, Damla Mozioğlu

Damla Mozioğlu was born on October 9th, 2001 in Istanbul. She has always been a fan of movies, books, and art, which led her to the filmmaking path. She recently graduated in February 2025 from Istanbul Bilgi University, double majoring in Film and Television and New Media and Communication. She has a short experimental film called “Shelter.” She was the art director of Together.Forever?, which won an award for Student Short Film Experimental Category in the 30th Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. She was the assistant director in the short “The Squeak”. Her last short documentary”Haulhaul” was her graduation project.

Yeliz Kıroğlu was born in Izmir, 2001. She has been interested in documentary filmmaking since her high school years. She has a passion for conveying the facts through cinema. For this reason, she is studying at Istanbul Bilgi University, Department of New Media and Communication. She previously worked as an editor, art assistant in documentaries and short films, and continues to work as a technical assistant in independent theater. “Haulhaul” was her graduation project. She aims to direct her career with documentary directing.
