After turning 130, Mary Ellen relocates to a caravan park in Byron Bay, hoping for a more peaceful existence. Something hasn't been quite right with her lately, seen through an array of bizarre symptoms in her logbook and a few extra teeth. Pieces of the puzzle are brought to light through interview segments and flashbacks that reveal why she has lived this long, and why it seems she may not be herself much longer. Despite her intentions to remain isolated, Mary Ellen is won over by her charming and persistent neighbour Dotty, who has a secret of her own. The revelation of their shared history culminates in a terrifying transformation and bloodthirsty rampage, all in the name of a little bit of science gone wrong.
