Harry Stoneman is a 21 year old student born and raised in Portsmouth and studying filmmaking at Screen and Film School Brighton.
Stoneman is a lover of chick-flicks and romantic comedies such as Clueless, When Harry Met Sally and Mean Girls. His biggest inspirations are filmmaker Sean Baker and his neo-realism style in Tangerine and The Florida Project, as well as writer and filmmaker Michaela Coel and her genius ability to create art from trauma and authenticity. He hopes to create a style that feels both camp, joyful and surreal but grounded in truth and reality, as well as highlighting themes close to his heart such as the queer experience in the 21st Century UK.
