Harry Stoneman is a 20 year old student born and raised in Portsmouth and studying filmmaking at Screen and Film School Brighton.
Stoneman is a lover of campy, chick-flicks and romantic comedies such as Clueless, When Harry Met Sally and Mean Girls. Contrastingly, he is a huge fan of Sean Baker and his neo-realism style in Tangerine and The Florida Project. He hopes to create a style that feels both camp, joyful and surreal but grounded in truth and reality, as well as highlighting themes close to his heart such as the queer experience in the 21st Century UK.
This year, Harry has written and directed three short films as well editing two short films and creating social media content for an independent restaurant in Brighton. He is hoping to continue developing his skills as a filmmaker and work on exciting new projects in his third year at film school.
