Director Statement

Harrowed was born from the collaborative spirit of my creative cohort. This story delves into the struggles of anxiety and the deaths of loved ones, intertwining these themes with drug abuse and surreal horror. Our goal is to create a film that raises awareness about coping with intense emotions and contributes to the horror genre.

This project is meaningful to me as it reflects personal experiences and a passion for using horror to address social issues. We aim to shed light on the often-taboo subjects of mental health and addiction, fostering understanding and empathy in our audience.
