Director Biography - Helen Chan

Helen started out as a Production Designer and has recently branched out her way into Directing. She aspires to direct visually stimulating films that make people cry and laugh.

During the 2 years of Production designing, Helen has had the honor to collaborate with internationally acclaimed Directors from different cultural backgrounds to tell their stories and it has sparked Helen’s interest to tell her own authentic stories.

With Helen’s background in production design, Helen emphasizes her film works on visual storytelling through props and set decorations. She enjoys creating a world for each of her films that is surreal and full of surprises.

She was featured in Voyage ATL magazine as the Rising star in Atlanta in 2020 and Hidden Gems in 2022. The films she worked on have won awards from festivals all over the world.
