Happy Family
The story of "Happy Family" unfolds in a dystopian society where government-produced TV shows serve as the sole form of entertainment, and a centralized system delivers food. People can only step out of their homes if they attain the coveted "Happy Family" titles. While the family outwardly projects a facade of happiness, the parents seem content with their monotonous lives, Nicole appears dissatisfied with their circumstances. And now, they are awaiting a routine visit from agent..

Rather than socializing with friends and engaging in outdoor activities, I've always found comfort in simply relaxing and watching a movie alone at home. It's the narratives, viewpoints, and the values portrayed in films that consistently strike a chord with me. That's when I genuinely feel at ease—watching or creating movies liberates my heart. And now, I'm thrilled to introduce my very first piece of art - "Happy Family."
In addition to my work as a filmmaker, I also have a career in the tech industry as an engineer. It's this combination of "sense and sensibility" that complete me as an individual.
Having grown up and been deeply influenced by my homeland, China, I've always had a strong affection for my country and its people. However, it was with the emergence of COVID-19 that I began to witness how individuals suffered under the burdensome quarantine policies and became casualties in a political struggle. It's truly disheartening to witness the land that has always nurtured me now grappling with an unfortunate dictatorship.
As a filmmaker, I feel a strong desire to utilize my unique platform to amplify their voices and advocate for human rights on a global scale.
