Director Biography - Luis Campos

Luis Campos Franco
Musician and Filmmaker, Mexico

Luis Campos is a musician and filmmaker living and working in Mexico City. His work is focused mainly in exploring with music and sound. In 2020 he started a  master’s degree in Cinema at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, in which he started working with moving images, exploring topics as maternity, gender roles, violence and love. His first short film “Still here” (2021) was part of the official selection of YATAY festival in Argentina and his second short film “Hubiéramos bailado más” (2022) was part of the official selection of Festival Internacional de Cineminuto (UAM) with screenings in Cineteca Nacional in Mexico City.
