Hand me back my dignity

A globally well-known professor’s life is under the threat of a critical illness, and nothing could prevent him from falling besides the most advanced medical equipment and technologies. Fortunately, not only his family and friends, people from all over the country, and even the government leaders were making their best efforts to keep this admirable old man alive for a longer time.

However, the professor himself isn’t happy about this forced extension of his life. After living a beautiful and useful life for long enough, the professor clearly knows that what he wants in his last days isn’t mechanical ventilators and journalists’ cameras. Between life on a sickbed and death with dignity, the choice has been made.

This animation discusses the professor’s pursuit of the value of life and his thoughts on the meaning of life. Rather than accepting the common thoughts on the subjects of life and death, he has his own judgment. He has always insisted on defending the dignity of life.
