Director Biography - Mabel Del Río Aponte Valle

Mabel Del Río's training spans various areas of filmmaking, enriched by experiences in different countries. Her most recent studies in production were at the Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti in Milan, Italy. These complemented her previous training in Art Direction for Film and Television at the Escuela Internacional de Cine San Antonio de los Baños in Havana, Cuba; in Editing at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, Italy; and in Communications at the Universidad de Lima.

Since 2015, she has gained experience as a line producer, production designer, art director, and costume designer. The projects she has worked on have motivated her to pursue a personal artistic vision through the language of cinema. Her work is driven by a desire to make the invisible visible, aiming for her projects to inspire reflection, imagination, and transformation of reality.
