Habib Bavi Sajed, born on October 1, 1980, in Ahwaz, began his artistic journey in theater at 14 and entered filmmaking at 17.
He has written, produced, and directed over twenty short films, documentaries, and two feature films. Additionally, he has served as a production manager for over 50 short films and documentaries. Notable works include the documentary "QalamRanj," featuring influential Iranian leftist artists.
Habib is a member of various film associations and received a bachelor's degree in documentary directing. He is active in film and literary criticism, with numerous articles and books published. Notably, he directed the first Arabic movie in Iranian cinema history. His works often address climate, ethnic anthropology, and environmental issues. His feature film "Sami" won awards and was screened at international film festivals.
In 2016, he served on the jury of the Oman International Film Festival documentary section.
