Director Biography - Amour Luciani

When creole storyteller, folklorist and creative writer Imani Love met mediterranean traveler and creative Lorenzo Pozzan at the intersection between her solo trip across the gobi desert and his hike of the GR20 trail, in Corsica, one of two things could have happened... the same thing happens when a tornado meets a vulcano, disaster or spectacle?
The results are on the screen, filtered through a mutual flare for magical realism, intersectionality and the human experience.

Director Statement

I began traveling to widen my horizons and understanding of the world, human condition and life in general in order to enrich the voice and point of view through which I make my art, and therefor pursue my dreams.
Landed in the brilliant world of my creative partner, transit, fascinated by the deep affinities and similar priorities we have, in spite of such different life stories.
Our stories have become a way to channel the thoughts and hypothesis that emerge from a dialogue between such effervescently different human experiences, a dialogue we hope to broaden and further expand through the powerful suggestion and boundless reach of cinema.
