Mark your calendars for this entertaining and exciting competition. The festival will be held at the Main Library, in the heart of Midtown Detroit, in the Clara B. Stanton Auditorium which seats an audience of 300! You're encouraged to tour Main and see the inspiring art and architecture during the intermission.

The screening and reception is open to the general public. The after party will be held in the H.Y.P.E. Teen Center for teens between the ages of 13-18. You'll have an opportunity to meet and greet some of Detroit's best young adult directors, actors and fans of filmmaking.

Rules & Terms

*Film submissions are open to teenagers 13-18 years of age and have a Detroit Public
Library card/ HYPE card.

*Films submitted on USB flash drives must be submitted in .mov, .wma. or .mp4 format.
Each film must be submitted on a separate USB flash drive with the entry form. USB
flash drives submitted without entry forms will not be considered.

*Films should be no longer than ten (10) minutes in length.

*Title pages and credits are to be included in each project.

*Maturity level should not exceed PG 13 rating.

*The director can submit no more than two (2) films.

*Adults may be actors in the film, but should have no other responsibilities in the production of the film.

*Submission deadline is Saturday, November 24, 2018.
