HuEllas (Traces). Love and violencia stories from the intimate to the political
The documentary video is a narrative journey, from an inter-sectional approach, through the reflections and experiences of feminist lesbians in Bogotá (Colombia) around political identity, love and relationships, violence in their sex-affective ties as well as learning and healing.
This dialogue is crossed as a common thread of the fabric, by other voices and artistically expressed stories such as dance, poetry, illustrations, stop motion, music or performance.

Ms. Esther Martín Pineda is the founder of Triacore, a space dedicated to self-recognition and conscious healing. She was born and raised in a town in southern Spain, looking at the African border every day. A feminist and lesbian activist from a young age, she dedicated herself to social work and public policies with an emphasis on gender, migration and LGTB people in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. She felt that the camera could be a lens that gives us back a healing look at our life stories and perhaps, the best way to break the silence and give visibility to the beauty that‘s always hidden in each story. As an artistic self-taught person, she began to explore the audiovisual world with her debut feature "HuEllas" ('Traces') within her academic thesis of the same title.
Along this path of directing and post-producing "HuEllas", she was collaborating in different projects such as the "Actancial Anatomy Training video art" (Belén do Pará, Brazil, 2016). She was Assistant Director of the short film "Soledad" (Madrid, Spain, 2019), as well as director of awareness videos for the "Pilot Project for the Prevention of Unwanted Loneliness" by the Madrid City Council (Madrid, Spain, 2018-2019).
A HEALING, CREATIVE AND INVESTIGATIVE PROCESS.
The proposal was born as a thesis work to give a voice to Bogota‘s feminist lesbians on issues that are historically silenced. For this, it was proposed to carry out two experimential workshops and the
systematization of feminist expressions about lesbian identities, affections and desires, violence and healing. These expressions are spoken, danced, sung, drawn or read.
Silence has always been an element that accompanies non-normative stories, and the camera aims to embrace the experiences and reflections that are shared. It is not only an audiovisual work, but an accompaniment that will be liberating and reflective for all the participants.
