Alexander is a passionate filmmaker and draws from his life experiences to tell stories with his unique vision. Alex has spent several years in New York working on the big production film sets as a PA to learn the ropes and gain further insight into the craft. Now Alex works hard to bring his vision to life for his latest film series The Hammer of Witches.
The Screech Owl is a very special film to me. This is my first feature length movie and the follow up film to my short film "Malefica" (2017). I wanted to do something different that has never been done before and combine genres. I really wanted to build the foundation of the world for my film series The Hammer of Witches with the latest film The Screech Owl. I wrote this particular movie with a low budget in mind but with the goal of having it feel like a big budget film and bring the audience through an experience. We have all seen crime films before and we have all seen horror so I took these elements that I love and used them as a portal into my sci-fi/fantasy world. I explored deeper themes such as self obsession and Creation and the internal conflicts it can have on certain characters along the way. I hope you enjoy our collective hard work on this project. Thankyou
