Director Biography - Fernando Urdapilleta

Fernando Urdapilleta is a director and filmmaker from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He holds a degree in Communication Sciences and is trained in scriptwriting and cinematography by the University of Buenos Aires. He worked as a screenwriter, director of photography and editor in documentary films on environmental, cultural and historical themes, among which is “El Silencio del Impenetrable” (2022), “Pueblo de Río Grande” (2021), “Trace Tales” (2021 ). He directed documentary short films for brands such as A&E, Catena Zapata, Chateau LaCoste, among others. In HOSTIL he makes his debut as a feature film director.
