Alice Velle was raised in Los Angeles and later moved back to her native Paris to pursue a career in journalism. She has worked for talk shows produced by late TV host Jean-Luc Delarue's company, Réservoir Prod, as well as on reality TV series. For these programs, Alice directed dozens of short segments. She is passionate about telling the stories of women whose voices have been silenced. MAISON(S) is her first work of fiction.
Matthieu Vidal studied film at ESRA in Paris. After working as an editor for entertainment programs, Matthieu began working in TV programming at renowned French channel Canal+. As a big crime novel & film aficionado, Matthieu combined his skills and knowledge to launch a YouTube channel dedicated to the genre : FRENCH TABLOÏD. For MAISON(S), he drew inspiration from the Giallo film aesthetic and the Hicksploitation atmosphere, all while keeping a touch of "Frenchness".
