Omar Bitar is a self-taught aspiring filmmaker. Born in Jordan, he moved to the united states in 2013. Omar is pursuing his passion for filmmaking. Omar’s work so far is short films.

Director Statement

Omar challenges himself with every film he makes; there must be a message or a story that leaves a lasting effect on the audience. His goal in making his film "Home" was to practice visual storytelling. Omar wanted the audience to watch the movie without any audio and still get the same message.
These two skills were practiced in this film and Omar will definitely use them in future projects.
