Director Statement

My 3 year old son inspired me to create this web series. Even though he is light skinned, he always reaches for the brown crayon in the crayon box. He wants to emulate me. I'm his hero right now. Most of the Heroes he see's on TV, Movies, Comics and Toys lack diversity inclusion. So I want to flip the paradigm of what society views as a hero by introducing millennials to the remarkable achievements that people of color have and continue to make in society. Diversity inclusion isn't just a "wish" anymore, It's a necessity.
