HIV/AIDS: Not A Death Sentence
As an illness without a cure, HIV/AIDS is commonly perceived as a death sentence. In addition, the many misconceptions about how it transmits has created negative stigma towards People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in general. This film aims to inform people about the advancement of science and how treatment enables PLWHA to live as long and as healthy as normal people.

As an illness without a cure, HIV/AIDS is commonly perceived as a death sentence. In addition, the many misconceptions about how it transmits has created negative stigma towards gay men, and People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in general. The comparison between old news footages and interviews with current expert testimonies shows that we have come a long way: science has advanced and even though cure for HIV/AIDS has not yet been discovered, Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) can repress the virus and give PLWHA a chance to live as long and as healthy as normal people.
