Our film Highlife opens a window into the thrilling yet serene world of highlining, a sport that blends extreme physicality with inner tranquility. At the heart of the story is Alex Witter, poised to break a record by walking across one of the longest highlines in North America. As Alex prepares for this awe-inspiring feat, the film takes viewers beyond the adrenaline and danger often associated with the sport.

Highlife introduces audiences to a tight-knit, joyful community of highliners who find creative, often quirky ways to pass the time while they wait for their turn to defy gravity. From balancing on lines suspended hundreds of feet above the ground to sharing laughter and camaraderie, this community is anything but ordinary. Yet, beneath the spectacle of daring stunts, the film reveals a deeper truth about the sport: it is not the thrill-seeking rush that drives these individuals but a profound sense of calm, focus, and love for the challenge.
